Spellbinding First Show Back at the Iconic Bombed Out Church
We’re back! We had a blast blowing crowds away for post-lockdown covid-safe performances at the Bombed Out Church – part of Liverpool Ignitus Festival of Performing Arts!
‘Rise of the Phoenix’ was so much more than an evening of live performances – it was a collective cathartic release!
Drumming, fire arts & conceptual dance within a stunning and safe environment allowed audience, performers, technicians, photographers and staff to shed all the tensions and emotions from these strange unprecedented times – feeling liberated and revitalised – together! The atmosphere was electric!
‘Rise of the Phoenix’, a post-lockdown covid-safe performance, was the second event in the series of Liverpool Ignitus Festival of Performing Arts.
The festival’s objective is to reconnect the performing arts with their audiences, whilst support the struggling performing arts by create opportunities to get on stage in a covid-safe way, to help them flex their creative muscle and do what they do best: perform!
With awe-inspiring performances from Katumba, Bring the Fire Project, SMG Dance Collective and Francisco Carrasco (Luma Creations), the event also hosted small group yoga, dance and circus skills workshops with Julianabrazil Yoga, Community Flow and Bring the Fire Project.

All the stars align sometimes and everyone who’s present in that moment feels to be part of something very special….
